The Concept: Healing Through Nature

Nestled in the untouched tranquility of the Western Ghats, Prakriti Shakti is set at an altitude of around 850 meters in the Idukki district of Kerala. The region of Panchalimedu welcomes you with a mystical atmosphere: a cool breeze flows through the rolling hills, often veiled in soft mist, offering spectacular views of lush green mountain peaks. The air here is exceptionally pure, making the regenerative character of this retreat immediately tangible.

Prakriti Shakti (operated by the CGH Earth Group) is a dedicated naturopathy centre. Its philosophy is simple yet powerful: “The body heals itself when given the right conditions.” There are no conventional medications, instead, treatments are based on the five natural elements – earth, water, air, fire (sun), and ether.

Healing Centre

Prakriti Shakti features a spacious and well-equipped treatment area designed to provide optimal conditions for therapies and medical consultations. The centre includes specialised facilities such as hydrotherapy, mud therapy and heliotherapy rooms, a reflexology path, as well as massage and spa rooms. Therapists and doctors are always present to ensure comprehensive care for all your health needs.

Yogasala

The Yogasala is nestled within the lush greenery of Panchalimedu. This light-filled space, consciously designed to embrace sunlight and nature, is a central part of your stay at Prakriti Shakti.

Under the guidance of Prakriti’s doctors, daily yoga sessions take place here. The Yogasala is also used for personalised yoga therapies tailored to individual needs.

Accommodation Options

The property blends harmoniously into its natural surroundings and consists of only 19 cottages. These are intentionally simple yet refined, with a focus on natural materials and abundant light.

To support deep relaxation and a true digital detox experience, televisions have been deliberately omitted from the rooms.

Accommodation Features

Design & Materials:
The cottages are primarily built from wood, stone, and glass. Large panoramic windows and open layouts allow for plenty of natural light and offer sweeping views of mist-covered hills or dense forest.

Interior:
The interiors are minimalist and calming, with a focus on organic textiles and herbal-based bathroom amenities.

Privacy:
Each of the 19 cottages features a private balcony or garden, providing a personal sanctuary for meditation or simply enjoying the surrounding nature.

Atmosphere:
Especially at dusk, the wooden cottages with their characteristic roofs blend beautifully into the landscape, creating a serene and almost mystical ambiance.
